Garden Duplex Highland Park
This was a distressed property for years without upkeep and the previous owner received numerous city housing and health violations. Soon after it went through a basic bone and structural renovation by a real estate agent and sold soon after. We came into the picture and saw unique architectural details hidden away in the building's interior and decided instead of start anew we will restore and honor the building's history. Many details were uncovered during the renovation such as original oak floor, decorative mantle, built-in desk, bookcase and storage spaces. We use dark colored fixtures to give the spaces a more grounded look and they also serve as strong contrast with creamy white walls.
